McKenzie Tryon finds reward in hard work as testament her being enrolled in rigorous classes such as AP Government and PAP Pre-Calculus. She is encouraged by the words of Colossians 3:23 “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.”

Since her freshman year, McKenzie has teamed with her father during weekly Elementary Chapel to lead music.  Occasionally, she will do improvisation skits that brings God’s message to the students.  Her fondest school memories have been leading music and entertaining elementary students with her Bible stories.

McKenzie plans to attend Blinn College and then to Texas A & M to study mathematics to become teacher.
