Summer Break is finally here- a wonderful and relaxing time that we all look forward to each year. Summer provides time to spend with family and friends, as well as basking in the sun on family vacations. Summer is also the season for vacation bible school, where kids can learn more about the love of God, his mercy, and his grace.
One of my favorite summer activities is volunteering to help those who are less fortunate right here in our community. Volunteering in local hospitals, shelters, and elderly care centers helps show others that God loves them and that He cares, no matter their situation. I invite you to set a few leisurely hours aside to give back to our city. Let’s spread the love of God this summer. Check our website weekly to find out where we will be volunteering in the community and come join us!
Summer also reminds me that I am unbelievably blessed to be a part of an incredible ministry like Katy Christian Magazine. I view my work here as an opportunity to continue to spread the word of God and help Christian businesses grow. This summer, let’s all be a blessing to our community.
