I must ask you a question that I pray that you would humbly search your heart for. How would you describe your relationship with God? Would you agree that the most important relationship you will ever have in your life is with God? God is the creator, the beginning and the end, and the Alfa and the Omega. After all, he is the one who created all things great and small and nothing would exist unless God spoke it into existence.
The Lord wants us to know and understand where we are in our relationship with him. In knowing this, those that truly love the Lord will take this as wisdom found and make the necessary changes in your life to have a closer walk with the Lord. Please know and understand that no one’s relationship is perfect in this world, but you can get it right with the Lord. If you truly love someone you would not want to hurt them in anyway, right? Wouldn’t you do everything you can to build that relationship, to show the person you love them and would do anything to keep them happy? This should be the same way within your relationship with God. Understand that every relationship you will ever have, you will have to do your part by putting some effort into keeping the romance going. If you don’t, at some point it will become a routine or began to whither. This is not only true in our earthly relationships, but also true in our spiritual walk with God. This amazing God we serve is a forgiving and loving God, so remember there is nothing that you could have done that you could not sincerely ask with you heart for forgiveness and he wouldn’t give it. God wants a personal relationship with you. He is just a call away.
