Camp West is a fun and exciting summer day camp located on a beautiful 42-acre development in Katy, Texas. Facilities include a great sports complex with a double full-size air conditioned gymnasium, indoor rock wall, and two ball fields. The six acre lake & park includes a 2600 sq. ft. pavilion, massive deck, two zip lines over the lake, 75’ water slide, 20’ water trampoline, floating jungle gym, Summit Express Water Slide, Freefall Water Slide, 14’ Iceberg Climbing Wall, Rockit Water Rocker, Spin Wheel Running Track and two fishing lakes.
Camp West is open to all children entering kindergarten through entering 7th grade! Kindergarten campers will be separated from 1st – 7th grade campers.
Campers will begin each day with a high-energy, interactive performance. There will be times for worship, games, and live character skits. They will then participate in planned indoor and outdoor activities. After lunch, it’s time to break out the sun block and race to the lake! While at the lake, campers will zoom down the zip line, whiz down the water slide, and play on the water inflatables. Snacks are available at the “Snack Shack.” The camp fee includes three snacks per day. Parents can pick-up pleasantly exhausted campers at 3:30 PM.

Summer Guitar Camps in Katy TX
Need to find a summer activity for your child? If so, you need look no further as we are proud to offer summer music camps for the young, aspiring musician!
For the first time, we will be offering two different summer guitar camps! Guitar Camp 1 is designed for the camper with no prior knowledge of the guitar. This camp will introduce them to basics such as: names of each string, how to change a string, how to make and play chords, how to strum basic patterns, etc. Yes, by the end of the camp, your child will be able to play basic songs to entertain you and your family! This camp makes an excellent precursor to determine if your child would be interested in private lessons as well!
The second type of guitar camp that we will be offering is Guitar Camp 2 – Basic Jazz Guitar Improvisation! Designed for those students who are no longer considered “beginners,” this camp will focus on the fundamentals of basic jazz improvisation and will introduce topics such as scales, the II-V-I chord progression, etc.
The camps lasts an entire week (Monday – Friday), with each class being 2 hours in length. Each camp is limited to 6 students, so don’t delay and register your child today!

About the Camps
U.K. International provides the most unique soccer experience and fun for any kid who loves soccer! All the Coaches are from the United Kingdom (UK), which gives the program a unique experience. Each coach is certified, screened, and background checked to ensure a safe environment for the kids. There is a limited camper to coach ratio to ensure maximum attention to each camper.
UK International offers the following sessions:
Mini-Camp for 4 and 5 year olds – 1 1/2 hour sessions
Half-Day Camp for 6 to 16 year olds – 3 hour sessions
Full-Day Camp for 6 to 16 year olds – 2, 3 hour sessions*
The Full Day Camp is (2) Half-Day camps (one in the morning and one in the afternoon). Note: Both Half-Day sessions should be chosen within the same week.

Join Typhoon Texas for weekly summer day camps. Camps are open to kids ages 6-12 and run Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m from June 13th to August 5th. Each week starts off with a swim lesson, followed by a wide range of games and activities which allow campers to experience all that Typhoon Texas has to offer. Summertime at the YMCA is a time for sun and fun. Overnight, day or specialty camps at the Y share one thing: they’re about discovery. Y day camps help kids grow and have fun through exploring the outdoors, building self-confidence and independence, learning core values, developing life skills and – most importantly – being active. Each week, imaginative themes and activities such as swimming, field trips, arts & crafts, group games, sports and recreation provide an engaging atmosphere for hands-on learning and exploration. Katy Family YMCA Day Camp is held at Camp Cinco, a 220-acre camp complete with a zip line, ropes course, rock wall, sports fields, covered basketball pavilion, misting station, nature trails, ranch house and more. Drop off as early as 7 am and pick up as late as 6:30 pm.
Nestled among the tall pines on 530 acres along the shores of Lake Livingston, as the Y’s official overnight summer camp, YMCA Camp Cullen offers boys and girls ages 7-17 the experience of a lifetime. Campers take part in a wide range of activities including water sports, horseback riding, a ropes course, nature exploration, drama and so much more. In addition to the many fun activities available, the campers also gather as a cabin group each day where they play, learn and bond together while participating in fun activities like campfires and scavenger hunts. Camp Cullen is located just one and a half hours north of Houston.
At YMCA Specialty Camp, your child can pick from several activities that they can focus on for the entire session. Classes include, but aren’t limited to, sports, cheerleading, dance, jump rope and toddler fitness camp.
