Looking for ways to support our local organizations while having some fun?
Family Hope will be holding two benefit concerts to raise money to support those in need within Fort Bend County.
Family Hope is the largest non-profit agency that exclusively serves northern Fort Bend County’s residents with medical assistance, food, rent and utility assistance, job searches, furniture and disaster relief. The Coronavirus has created urgent needs, in particular for food, and proceeds raised from these concerts will directly meet those needs.
Both concerts feature a livestream of the contemporary Irish folk worship band Rend Collective. They will be playing songs from their new album, Choose to Worship, which dropped on March 27th.
The first concert will be held this Friday, June 12, from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm. The event will take place at the Simonton Community Church parking lot located at 9703 FM 1489 in Simonton.
Parkway Fellowship Church located at 27043 FM 1093 in Richmond will host a second benefit concert in their parking lot on Sunday, June 14, from 8:45 pm – 9:30 pm.
A free 60” TV will be given away to one lucky in-person attendee at each event.
If you cannot attend the concerts, you are encouraged to make online donations at www.familyhopefulshear.org.
