Archery at Calvary

Calvary Episcopal Preparatory students were delighted to have an opportunity, for the second year in a row, to be able to participate in archery. The Archery Team has been learning and growing under the direction of October Smith (Manager) and Scott Lightle (Project Coordinator) of Long Acres Ranch.  Long Acres Ranch “provides a unique, natural environment for educational and recreational activities and promotes the appreciation of nature and open space in the heart of one of the fastest growing areas of Texas” (longacresranch.org/). 24 Calvary students, grades 4th – 12th grade, head over to Long Acres Ranch once a week to learn and practice the 11 steps of archery success.
