National Charity League, Inc., Lady Bird Chapter, will be proudly honoring 22 members of the Class of 2021 during Senior Presentation on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at the Sugar Land Marriott Town Square.

 Lady Bird Chapter will recognize these 22 wonderful young ladies for their accomplishments achieved over the last six years in NCL, Inc. These young ladies, along with their mothers, have volunteered more than 9,405 hours of philanthropic service to their community over the past six years!

They have served in a variety of leadership positions, along with planning events, and attending various cultural events. Additionally, they have made lasting relationships and memories within their community, organization, and mostly with their mothers.

The Lady Bird Chapter’s total philanthropy hours this year have surpassed 7,447 hours in community service. National Charity League, Inc (NCL, Inc.) is a national nonprofit mother-daughter service organization.

National Charity League, Inc. – Lady Bird Chapter: The National Charity League, Inc. is a registered 501(c)3 organization. For more than 50 years, the nonprofit has thrived as one of the nation’s most distinctive and respected mother-daughter organizations. The National Charity League, Inc. Lady Bird chapter was formed in 2010 and is comprised of mothers and daughters in the Katy-area committed to developing strong women leaders through serving and impacting communities today and for generations to come. 

About National Charity League, Inc., Lady Bird Chapter: Lady Bird Chapter provides hands-on volunteer service for 27 philanthropic organizations in the community. Members are women and their daughters in grades 7–12. Through this community service, NCL, Inc. develops socially responsible community leaders and strengthens the mother-daughter relationship. The traditional six-year core program also includes leadership development and cultural activities. Mother-daughter teams nationwide are responsible, dedicated, skilled volunteers actively engaged in local community work in 30 states across the country.

Joseph Menslage

As the President and Publisher of Katy and Fort Bend Christian Magazines, Joe Menslage is committed to covering social and political news from a Christian worldview. He founded Katy Christian Magazine in 2005, which swept the greater Houston and Katy areas like a storm. That’s when Joe realized the urgent need for publications willing to give voices to the voiceless, without political correctness or censorship. Joe Menslage founded sister-publication Fort Bend Christian Magazine in 2014. Prior to creating Katy Christian Magazine, Joe Menslage led a colorful life. He was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, spent a great deal of his childhood in Colorado, and lived in a couple of other states before he moved to Houston in 1981. Joe was God-gifted with an entrepreneurial mind, and self-started other business ventures before he found his calling. In Joe’s words, our innate talents are given by the Lord, and are meant to be used to serve the Lord. Aside from being a President and Publisher, Joe Menslage is also the co-founder of Katy Christian Chamber of Commerce, where Christians can network, build business connections, listen to passionate speakers, and enjoy monthly breakfasts and lunches. Joe Menslage also hosts a weekly political satire YouTube channel. Joe Menslage has four children. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, watching zombie movies and K dramas, ax-throwing and Krav Maga.
