Church on the Rock Offers School Supply Giveaway

Church on the Rock Katy will be hosting a Tools for School Worship Night on Saturday, August 7, at 6:00 pm.

This is an opportunity for students in the community needing school supplies and backpacks to receive donated supplies and return to school prepared and ready to be successful.

“We understand how difficult it is for our children to go back to school without the necessary tools,” said a spokesperson from the church. “Our main goal as a Christian organization is to reach out to our community and positively impact the building block of our society and community: the family.”

Sponsors of the program include Katy Christian Ministries and Katy Christian Magazine. The night of the event, several businesses will exhibit services and products for children, providing an atmosphere of fun, worship, fellowship, and refreshments.
